Mother's Day night I posted this photo to Instagram. With the caption being — " Sweet, sweet love. When your husband comes home from grocery shopping but also with a gift for you. And he says "I got you this color because you seem to like it. And it matches your toes!" It's the little things. " After a comment was made about the color, I realized something. This color was my something blue at our wedding. It was the color of my nails when Lucas was born. It was the color we wore in our first family photos. And now it's the color of my first Mother's Day gift. I'm writing this out so I remember down the road that this gift reminded me of so many of my favorite moments that led us to where we are right now. In our first home. Celebrating our firsts as a family. With our baby boy, and our baby Bo. And it's truly the little things that mean that most.
